    Artist Statement

Sarah Lovett is an experienced freelance artist. Her work spanning film and tv set design, performance, photography, installation, community art, event design, and music. Ask this versatile and creative practitioner about commissions, public art, workshops and interactive installations or whatever you might require. "The Museum of the Miscellaneous", fantastic interactive installation which contains the powerful icon and relic, "The Fly of Peace" genuinely found in John Lennons actual childhood bedroom. Lovett is a storyteller and the curator, (a bearded lady !) On a tour of the extraordinary exhibits, visitors hear the fantastic story of Daphne the Mermaid, and come face to face with a dangerous man eating fish ! The Chariot of BoOoM! is an interactive percussion gamelan (drum assembly), which has been enjoyed by hundreds of people of all ages and abilities, come rain or shine, both indoors and out, if you cant beat 'em beat it ! "Squirt ! " is a zany sideshow, very popular at festivals. A Heath Robinson type "shoot em up" with pump action water pistols and a science meets art background with weighted pulleys, wheels and levers. I am available to run family art workshops with versatility and flexibility to your theme or mine. I have a full crb check and public liability insurance.
