A project run by Strike a Light based in Brighton. I ran a series of workshops at the Jubilee Library in Brighton which were open to young people from 14 - 25. These were drop in sessions exploring drawing with the sewing machine and applique, the young people made drawings from photographs of soldiers and nurses in WW1 and significant parts of Brighton. After 4 workshops, I put together the final work for hanging at events. It was fantastic to see so many boys taking part and they all made some great drawings in a short time.
