My work deals with the subject of value by considering the system of values that we bestow upon familiar objects and possessions. I am interested in how the perception of an object is altered by its material, situation, or scale, and by making ironic and playful changes to these properties I encourage the viewer to question the value of the object. I deal to a great extent with found objects, investigating ways of intervening with the object itself to change its state and make it into an art object.
