Apathy (death of a beautiful idea)

This piece is about those moments of inspiration we get that we don't act upon. Then that idea never comes in to being and disseappers into the ether. I use a lot of stags in my work as they are so majestic and pure, like they are wearing ornate crowns on their heads. I find their skulls are so beautiful and sculptural, and obviously act as a symbol for death. Whereas the purple and blue flowers are a metaphor for the beautiful idea that will never be...
