This wall sculpture was an artistic response to the scientific research of Dr. Blankenship in Nottingham universitys' pioneering nano technology department. It is a creative interpretation of our need to capture CO2 in the nano pores of waste products such as sawdust, coconut shells and other waste materials. The potential volume of these pores are measured by injecting gases such as Hydrogen into the pores. There is an ideal measurement. The sculpture attempts to capture the playfulness and movement of this process.
