New Art Highlights of the week includes Danny Manning, Hannah Sutherland, Silvia Lerin and Becky Haughton

Lost Property, 2019 by Danny Manning

Danny Manning

This is a series of autobiographical works exploring dislocation, migration , loss and my polish identity. Living by the coast, born in Kent and now living in Sussex I am acutely aware of the effects of migration and I hope that this work can speak out and form part of a collective voice addressing the consequences of conflict and war.

Reflection, 2015 by Silvia Lerin

Silvia Lerin

This piece was a piece installed for a curated themed exhibition ‘Shape in Mexico’ in the Bargehouse. Oxo Tower. London in 2015. The theme was related with Mexico.

With ‘Reflection’ I wanted to express the idea that all the countries nowadays reflect themselves in each other, that all have a little bit o share a little bit with the others, that’s why we all have to look for the understanding between different cultures.
