Gothic Studies Graduate Research Training Day

This event is organised by the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies and is open to all postgraduate students working on Gothic Studies and anyone with an interest in developing research projects in this interdisciplinary area.

 

Outline for the Day:

10 am - 12 pm
Training sessions on writing abstracts and book reviews; preparing conference presentations; networking and writing blogs.

12pm - 1pm
Dr Emma McEvoy (University of Westminster) will speak about her recent research on 'Gothic Tourism'.

2pm - 5pm
PhD students working on Gothic Studies will deliver short presentations on their current research.
