So I know I promised to keep you updated about our new developments at Axis – and then went quiet! This is mainly because all these things take a little time and we’ve not quite reached the exciting decision stages – we’re still doing the behind-the-scenes foundation work.

We’ve got a few visual identity ideas that we’re mulling over but the bulk of work we’ve been doing recently has been focused on appointing a digital agency to help us create the new Axis web platform.

Based on feedback from Axis members that we’ve collected over the last couple of years, we’ve come up with a long wish list of features, elements and interactions which we want to see in the new web platform.

Writing them down and sumarising our demands into a brief was an interesting exercise – and I’m not sure ‘brief’ is the correct word for it!

Fingers crossed we’ve done enough to get some agencies interested in working with us. With the deadline for this week, tension in the Axis office is running high as we wait for the tenders to come flooding in …. and we hope that we’ll reach that exciting stage soon …
